A 1978 graduate of Columbia College with a degree in English, RONALD KOURY began with The Hudson Review in 1981 and has been managing editor since 1985. Prior to The Hudson Review, he worked first at Columbia University libraries and then in production and sales at Dover Publications. He has been a speechwriter for the delegation of the Permanent Mission of the Kingdom of Bhutan to the United Nations. He is the editor of Literary Awakenings: Personal Essays from the Hudson Review, just out from Syracuse University Press.
